Greens back move to have State apologise for “institutionalised baby theft”

The Greens have today added their voices to calls for an historic State Government apology for the aggressive adoption policies that Greens MPs described as “institutionalised baby theft.”

Inappropriate development planned for Wattle Grove

The Shire of Kalamunda currently has an amendment advertised to rezone Lot 32 Gavour Road from ‘Special Rural’ to ‘Special Use (Aged Residential Care)’.  If this amendment is approved, an Aged Care facility will be built on a block with no reticulated sewerage and exceedingly poor access to urban amenities such as medical care, shopping and leisure activities.
