Children & Youth

Nearly a quarter of the people in WA society today are under 25 years old. These children and young people are often denied their rights, or are unaware of what their rights are, and what to do if their rights are violated. It is the role of Government, in conjunction with the International Convention on the Rights of the Child to meet the needs and uphold the rights of all people under the age of 25.

Alison is concerned with upholding these rights, while committed to supporting laws and policies that build safe and loving environments, whilst free from all forms of physical or mental violence, injury or abuse, neglect or negligent treatment, maltreatment or exploitation, including emotional or sexual abuse and discrimination.
