City of Swan Local Planning Scheme 17 - Petition
HON ALISON XAMON (East Metropolitan) [10.04 am]: I present a petition containing 79 signatures, which is couched in the following terms —
To the President and Members of the Legislative Council of the Parliament of Western Australia in Parliament assembled.
We the undersigned residents of Western Australia are concerned that Amendment 40 to the City of Swan Local Planning Scheme 17 will unjustifiably reduce the property rights of landowners and residents.
Your petitioners therefore respectfully request the Legislative Council to call upon the Minister for Planning not to approve Amendment 40 to the City of Swan Local Planning Scheme and that he returns it to the City of Swan for further consideration and community consultation.
And your petitioners as in duty bound, will ever pray.
