5618. Hon Alison Xamon to the Minister for Mental Health representing the Minister for Water

I refer to the answer to my question on notice No. 4333 in which Latent Petroleum used 4,357,578 litres of water to hydraulically fracture the Warro-3 tight gas well, and I ask:

(1) Did the Department of Water licence any water extraction to be used for this purpose?

(2) If yes to 1 —

(a) how much water was licenced;

(b) where was that water sourced from;

(c) were any conditions applied to the licence;

(d) was metering required;

(e) when was the licence application received; and

(f) when was the licence application approved?

(2)     (a) 20 000 kilolitres per annum.
