Industrial Relations & Employment

Industrial relations or labour relations, greatly influences the way our economy functions and performs. It is the relationship between management and workers that applies to the workplace. The role of industrial relations is constantly evolving and that is why Governments need to set frameworks for labor relations through legislation and regulation.

Alison has had a long and extensive experience in this field, having previously worked for a Labor law firm and spent her days representing and advocating for the rights of workers and the disadvantaged. Prior to taking up law Alison worked for many years in the union movement as an organiser and Industrial Officer in both the teachers and the nurses unions.
