Swan View Youth Centre a welcome initiative

WA Greens Member for East Metropolitan Region Alison Xamon has added her support to the Swan View Youth Centre that opened today.
At the opening of the purpose-built youth facility, Ms Xamon saw performances from some of the area’s talented young musicians.
“This centre will be a place where young people can access support such as counseling and other youth services,” Ms Xamon said.
“I hope the young people of Swan View will welcome this great initiative.
“The creation of spaces where young people can hang out in a safe environment is a very important part of creating cohesive communities.
“I congratulate the Shire of Mundaring for its work in supporting its young people.
“I would like to see the State Government spending more on these valuable services.”
