WA Greens welcome opening of Armadale skate park

WA Greens Member for East Metropolitan Region Alison Xamon has welcomed the opening of the Youth Activity Area at Armadale.
At the opening on Friday, Ms Xamon saw demonstrations of skateboarding, BMX-riding and DJ and dance workshops.
“I think this is a great initiative for the young people of Armadale,” Ms Xamon said.
“It is very important that we provide these youth facilities – spaces where young people can hang out in a safe environment, and this is much needed in Armadale.
“I think it is fantastic that the City of Armadale is supporting its young people and I particularly acknowledge all the hard work which the local youth services have also put in.
“It would be good to see the State Government chip in more to create these valuable services.”
