3054. Hon Alison Xamon to the Leader of the House representing the Minister for Child Protection:
I refer to the Cross Sector Foster Carer Panel, and I ask:
(a) how many assessment reviews were undertaken by the panel in 2019–20; and
(b) for each of the reviews from (a), please indicate how many members of the panel were Aboriginal?
Hon Sue Ellery replied:
(a) A total of 90 assessment reviews were undertaken by the Cross Sector Foster Carer Panel in 2019–20.
(b) An Aboriginal member sat on 79 of the assessment reviews conducted in 2019–20.
