I refer to work to develop independent oversight mechanisms for children in the child protection system, and I ask:

(a)  would the Premier please advise what progress has been made towards achieving this aim;

(b)  have any specific models been identified for consideration;

(c)  if yes to (b), which model(s); and

I refer to children in the care of the CEO, and I ask:

(a)  how many children in the care of the CEO are currently in an unendorsed placement;

(b)  how many children in the care of the CEO are there whose whereabouts are currently unknown;

(c)  what are the ages of the children from:

(i)  (a); and
