I refer to the youth community assessment and treatment team.
(1) Has this program been discontinued?
(2) If yes to (1), why?
(3) If yes to (1), what has happened to the YCATT staff?
(4) If yes to (1), what other services currently provide intensive support to young adults in the community with complex mental health issues?
Hon ALANNA CLOHESY replied:
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. I am advised the following .
(1) No. Although services are being reviewed to determine the best way to provide for these patients, the youth community assessment and treatment team continues to operate, and contracts for staff were extended until 31 December 2017.
